The Northwest School of Audiology has been working with the Physiological Sciences Network to look at gaps in CPD and training, and some of these are in Paediatric Audiology.
We have developed this our first course aimed at experienced clinicians who would like to start working in Paediatric Audiology and newly qualified audiologists who need the knowledge and skills to start working in Paediatric Audiology. It will be held over 3 days and will be very intensive!
This is a theoretical course, and we will signpost to ongoing next step courses that you can take later (with other providers)
We are working on other courses, so keep a watch for these announcements!
So, the important news is that we have secured funding to hold 3 of these courses over 2026 so we can offer this FREE.
However, we will only have a maximum of 12 per course to enable you to gain the best possible learning experience.
Once the first course is filled, we will have a waiting list.

We have the best Paediatric Audiologists and AVPs in the Northwest Region involved in the course.

Aural Care Courses – 2026
The North West School of Audiology Aural Care course.

This is a detailed two day course involving a combination of taught material and practical experience. This course aims to teach you all aspects of microsuction, irrigation and manual removal of wax using a high quality ENT microscope, loupes and the Owl Digital Video Otoscope.
